Bury The CastleBeen caught up for so long, I lost track of what's right I've exchanged all my virtues for hate This hellfire I dwell in is more dark than light And stinks too much of fateBury The Castle
So I'm returning again to a life once lead Of common device and style From whence these Roots did once grow Through the eyes of a child
I'm uncomfortable in my skin again 'Cause the world I knew has died I'm missing too much, and it all depends On who I am inside
So I'm hunting again for bolts of gold With a wrench and a key to guide Farther still the Precursors lie &nb

The RulesRule #1: Above all else, follow your heart. Rule #2: Do, or do not; there is no try. Rule #3: In personal matters of importance, keep your own counsel or seek out a doctor when necessary. Rule #4: A shave or a haircut has the potential to change your outlook on life. Rule #5: It's better to seek answers where there are none than to take everything at face value. Rule #6: Everything is text. Rule #7: Sometimes the right song is just as effective an aid to one's state of being as another prescription. Rule #8: Say what you mean and mean what you say. Rule #8A: Being right isn't always as importantThe Rules

Tomorrow's LieWhat was never my choice Began as a joke To make change in the world And be freeTomorrow's Lie
Such has ended And the hopes that I brought Lie shattered in the gutters Of Washington's streets
I'm sick now Sicker than ever With rusty vomit And a new emptiness to fill
For the children have no hope for change So long as the Old Guard grooms successors Whose prejudices and sins filter through And perpetuate the downward spiral
Tomorrow's leaders love two things Money and Power They wish for subordinates Whose wills they

Secondary Rough Draft-TTILIHS10/21 Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, played by Mark Harmon on NCIS, may have merely been keeping alive the memory of his late wife Shannon when he developed his set of rules to live by, but the effects of such a list impacted me on a deep enough level that I decided to compile everything I'd learned in High School into something similar; a tribute, really, but also a creed to be passed on.Secondary Rough Draft-TTILIHS
My greatest fear in life has never been death; no, I've had my fair share of close calls, mainly in the name of trying new things, and they taught me long ago that death is just another part of life, though our choices will influence t
| Well-Met, A friend of mine once called me "wolf," and the name stuck. The 'ironic' part came into play when a certain book series started mirroring our lives. I truly enjoy writing, and would rather just sit in the elements, with a pen and a stack of paper, than try to choke down physics. Being a lone wolf for so long has taught me that the single person you can count on to be around when everything falls apart is yourself, and to meet your own expectations above those of anyone else. If your work doesn't please you, then what was the point? I suppose that's why I usually keep to myself in day to day life. I have a strong nuclear pack, consisting of the handful of people I trust with everything about myself, and it would take something serious to fracture our bonds. Don't be afraid to drop a line, though. I don't bite... hard. -IronicWolf |
